The Three Sisters Garden at Angel Mounds will be participating in a special seed planting project this year.

We have linked up with Ryan Conway from Indiana University, who is a Research Associate studying corn history in America and who is attempting to grow a large seed-stock of ancient corn. We will plant a rare and very old corn seed called Tenskwatawa, a flint corn. This will become the corn in the Three Sisters Garden and hopefully will produce a great number of seeds for research and seed banks.
