The Tenskwatawa (flint corn) is up!

The Three Sisters Garden team formed a working partnership with Ryan Conway (a Corn Research Scientist at IU Institute for Indigenous Knowledge). Together, we planted a rare and ancient corn seed, Tenskwatawa – flint corn – that Ryan provided. The corn seed is the descendant of corn planted by indigenous peoples (Shawnee) at Prophetstown before pioneers moved into the area.
